Major programme of renovation
To
complete the renovation of Numéro Neuf in an eco-aware manner
requires the following tasks to be undertaken:
- Roof ~ Renew and re-enforce roof structure and tiles as necessary. Install Solar Water heating panels on South facing roof. Possibly Solar electricity tiles or panels if grant/subsidy makes this a viable proposition.
- Exterior ~ Render back & gable walls. Replace, repair and finish off all shutters. Double glazing on all windows
- Heating ~ Install Solar and Wood powered water heating system to
be used for space heating and domestic use.
- Plumbing & Electricity ~ prove electricity and water to all rooms requiring them.
- Convert outdoor concrete sheds to utility rooms, toilets, bathrooms, showers and cover area between them and house with glass roofing.
- Roof Terrace
- Windows with view of Canigou installed in Gable walls
- Balcony
- Forest land with sufficient
annual growth to supply the firewood requirements of the house
